Picture Post 1020 : Some Of The Best Things In Life Are Free

A weekend to remind me that some of the best things in life are free. A walk in the park and a stunning display of blooms. Watching performers at the pub karaoke and realising that natural talent need not be offset by professional posturing. The satisfying pint of beer wasn't free : but you can't have everything.

  3. One of the best things in life is your kids - but they are far from free; it's a never-ending debt obligation....

  6. Wonderful display. I used to have lots of African Marigolds, a very satisfying flower.

  7. Life is amazing isn't it?...often just steps from where you live...or perhaps a drive through the country to get there....all you have to do is "get up for life and getting going on it!" Lovely yellow......so beautiful! Thanks! Glad you had a glorious day!

  8. I like the little clump of purple flowers right dab in the middle of the marigolds.

  9. That's all so very true, and I bet the pint almost seemed cheaper because everything else was free :)

  10. I wish 'the best things in life are free' was a more modern concept. We seem to be forgetting.

  12. The best things in life are free for now, but you can bet there's a big multinational somewhere that's working on it! :)
